WELCOME TO SAGUARO LAKE RANCH STABLE

Come horseback riding at Saguaro Lake Ranch Stable, just 40 minutes east of Phoenix and experience the majestic scenery of the Old West the real cowboy way…from a saddle.

Scenic Horseback Riding Minutes From Phoenix & Mesa

The guided trail rides at Saguaro Lake Ranch Stable are unlike any other Phoenix horseback riding trails you’ll find. Why? Because our picturesque location is truly like no other; unique trail attractions such as the imposing Bulldog Cliffs, and the majestic Salt River that winds through our property, are just steps away on horseback.

Located at the beautiful historic 90 year old Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch, our trails take riders of all levels of experience on Saguaro cactus studded ridges, along the Salt River, into dry arroyos, and up creosote covered hills.

River Crossing trail rides are seasonal and subject to change depending on water levels and trail conditions.  Historically, the river crossing season can be expected mid-November to mid-March.

Bring an extra breath, it will be taken away… We have been to most of the other horseback riding facilities in the Phoenix area and this is by far, the ‘Best Of The Best’… Being horse owners, we do have the basis for which to judge, you will say “WOW!” many times before the ride is over. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

This is a great place to come and go on a ride; the staff were great in every aspect. All the positive feedback you read are true; I would strongly recommend this place to anyone. My wife loved it; she went on the two hour ride with 4 other guests. They all agreed “great place”. We definitely recommend this to anybody. Great ranch with great views.”

I didn’t fully realize the exceptionality of the Sonoran Desert until after the two-hour ride. A must-do activity for the spring or fall. Our trail guide was an excellent horseman and very knowledge of the fauna and flora. The horses were gentle, sure-footed and well taken care of – fat & happy, clean lots. Tack was in good shape and well-maintained. Friendly staff! Thanks for the beautiful midday ride.
